My life is rediscovered

how we have taken time
to really understand and enjoy
the things that make us strong

I miss being in turmoil,
Thinking I had no where to go, I felt stuck…
but that wasn’t true.
I am not alone, with or without him.

When i was little,
I felt feverish,
in my head.
I made her check
for fever.
And she would,
always tell me,
“Its not fever”.
Today it seems
I am feverish,
in my body.
My mom tells me
“your sick dear”.
And I cant feel it.
I wish that girl,
was here to tell me,
“Its not fever”.
Every new day’s an empty page
another chance to start again
Where you’re going matters much
God won’t ask where you’ve been
Feel free to claim your life today
when will you be more alive
Watching is always a lonely place
the water’s waiting, take a dive
Each instant is a precious gift
time is not to save or borrow
If you live today and live it well
you need never fear tomorrow
